Long Covid Clinic is being opened in D18 Medical in October 2022 by Dr. E Foley.
Combining her twenty five years experience as a practicing doctor and GP with traditional Japanese medicine for a new treatment protocol aimed at helping patients suffering from long covid syndrome. Covid 19 infection can have a global impact on the human body affecting one or more of our body systems: Structural – muscles, ligamentous system, skeletal framework. Our fascial network. Our visceral organs. Nervous system – peripheral nerves. Cranial system.
The treatment plan taking a holistic approach to this illness starts with a GP consult and history. Targeted medical testing such as oxygen sat tests, blood glucose tests and an ECG will help establish a tailored treatment to the individual.
Non invasive gentle techniques will be used to address these issues including structural realignment, cranio-sacral work and fascial release. Results of each test and treatment will be monitored to develop an individual program. Non-invasive treatment, targeted medical testing, exercises and advice will be provided to the patient in line with their history as the treatment plan evolves.
A tailored hands on therapy to address some of these problems is commencing on Thursdays in D18 Medical by Dr E Foley, MB.Bch. BAO. MICGP.
Five sessions will be provided – spaced over an approximate ten week period.

Medical tests
A hands on treatment of the whole body to include, feet assessment and treatment, a gentle structural realignment, fascial release and cranio-sacral therapy.
Tailored individual exercises.

Extensive work on the feet – advise will be given on certain footwear.

Dr. E. Foley has been training in the art of traditional Japanese medicine in the U.K. for the past ten years.
Qualified in Amatsu, Seitei, Shindin and Kenku therapy with further training in fascial release therapy she is forming the first clinic to combine all these treatments in Ireland and the U.K. in the treatment of the persistent affects of Covid-19.
