
Dr Clare McManus
Clare went to School in Muckross Park College, Dublin and went on to University College Dublin, graduating in 1996. She completed her intern year in St Vincents Hospital and joined the Dublin GP training scheme. She completed rotations in Medicine for the elderly, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Paediatrics and then joined Dr Edel McGinnity in Mulhuddart for her GP trainee year. She became a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2000. Following this she worked partime in Dublin and then moved to Bristol in 2001 where she was a partner in a large practice. After 6 years, she decided to move back to Ireland to be closer to family and spent 7 years in Cork before landing back home in Dublin.
She is married with four children and enjoys swimming, walking and playing cards.

Dr James Hayden
Graduated from UCD School of Medicine in 2003. He completed medical training and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2006. He completed further training in General Practice in Ireland and the UK and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2009. James has worked as a GP in Ireland, UK and Australia. More recently he worked in Harolds Cross Medical Centre for 3 years before opening his clinic in Sandyford after taking over the Medical Card patients of Dr John Hastings. He has a special interest in paediatrics and childhood health, diabetes, sexual and reproductive healthcare, dermatology and minor surgery. He is married with 3 children
Dr Niamh O’ Carroll
Niamh graduated from RCSI in 1998. She completed her GP Vocational training in 2003. Niamh pursued her interest in teaching and started with the RCSI undergraduate Programme in 2004. She moved to London in 2005 and worked in clinical practice in Clapham for four years with interests in sexual health and contraception. She continued teaching as a clinical fellow in Imperial College London. Niamh completed her Masters in Medical Education with Queens University in Belfast (2009). She returned to Ireland in 2009 and was appointed the role of assistant programme director with the RCSI/Dublin NE training programme in October 2010. Niamh was a partner in Clinical Practice in Drogheda (2010-2022) and her interests are in women’s, adolescent and children’s health. She is a certified cervical smear taker and inserts contraceptive devices. She was appointed Scheme director of RCSI/NE GP training in 2021. Niamh lives in Dublin and divides her time between clinical practice, her GP training role and her family.

Martina brings a wealth of 30 years of nursing experience. She has a special interest in women’s health and asthma. Services offered: phlebotomy, cervical smear, childhood vaccines, ear lavage, spirometry, allergy testing, cryotherapy, dressings and suture removal and ECG
